Frequently asked questions

Yes! Most venues require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from your vendors and ask that they are listed as “additional insured” in the event your vendor’s actions cause any sort of damage to their property.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! Depending on your service package, I'd complete most of the ground work for you. We'd communicate via email and virtual planning sessions … and when you're in town, I'd plan full days of meetings and tours to maximize our time together.

I AM PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING IN CHARLOTTE, BUT I LIVE IN ANOTHER CITY/STATE/COUNTRY, CAN YOU HELP ME?

I am based out of Charlotte, NC and plan weddings all over North and South Carolina. If you’re planning a mountain or coastal wedding, count me in! A change in scenery is always something I get super excited about and look forward to.

Where do you plan events? Do you travel?

Pricing is based on many factors such as location, number of guests, services provided, etc. However, as a point of reference, the month of coordination package starts at $2,500.

What is your pricing?

Wedding budgets come in different shapes and sizes and every single penny is valuable. On average, my couples spend anywhere between $350-$700 per guest for the entire wedding. This includes vendors, dress, stationary, etc.

What does an average couple working with you spend on their wedding?

Girrrl, as soon as you have that ring on your finger and decided on a wedding date! The planning package you select, will determine our next steps but the true perk is that all ASY clients receive exclusive access to their own virtual planning portal where they receive my custom checklist, budget tracker, list of fabulous vendors and design studio to help jumpstart your seamless planning process.

When in the planning process should we hire you?

Although the two make for a phenomenal team, long story short, a venue coordinator is responsible for overseeing all set-up, maintainence and vendor logistics as it relates directly to the venue on the actual wedding day. An independent wedding planner (me), serves as a direct point of contact for all parties, helps you build a team of vendors based on your budget and overall vision for the day, creates the timeline and floor plan while handling all the logistics of planning from start to finish.

What’s the difference between you and a venue coordinator?

I am a Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) through The Bridal Society, the nation's leading wedding planning certification program. Not only am I certified but I’ve spent 8+ years actively pursuing continuing education courses to keep up with the latest trends and wedding practices.
